One of the oldest saying is that the month of March comes in like a lion and goes out like lamb. The first part of that adage was clearly realized when our recent powerful blizzard hit our state this week covering it in a blanket of cold white snow. There’s no doubt about it, this winter storm is certainly a “Big-One” even for the Yard Elves!
Presently, the Yard Elves are still working through the snowfall and the company anticipates the entire workforce will have to continue to deal with the aftermaths of the blizzard for at least a week or more as this snowstorm has brought with it harsh weather conditions (very wet-heavy-snow, freezing-rains, high-winds) which have accumulated at a considerably swift rate.
On a sunnier side of things, hopefully very soon the storm will be far behind us as we turn our sights to March 17th and to Saint Patrick’s Day when all over the world, people of Irish descent celebrate in song and dance that is their cultural heritage.
Did you know?
The Irish people are noted for their friendliness and strong attachment to the land. They even have their own magical elves. They call them Leprechauns; fun wee folks mischievously tease us all with the stories of their pots of gold that are found at the end of brightly colored rainbows.
Thus, let’s all raise a cheer for good Old Irish Luck in the coming Spring that will herald a new season of natural beauty and growth. What with the Covid 19 vaccine now available and being distributed everywhere, the future ahead is a bright one!
We also look forward to a summer free of the awful wildfires that devastated so much of our beautiful state last year. We remind all our fellow Coloradans to practice safe outdoor activities assuring that all of us preserve the natural resources of Colorado so; that they may be enjoyed for all the future generations to come.
In closing, thank you so much to everyone for your patience with the Yard Elves during this most recent storm. We want you all to know we truly appreciate each one of our customers and every person in our community.
We are taking all steps imaginable to make it to our regular customers and as many new clients as we can during this snow incident.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to All!
