With the arrival of February, the people of western Pennsylvania held their annual Ground Hog Day celebration and the famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil popped out of his hole and saw his shadow. Thus, predicting another six weeks of winter. Sure enough, within days of the event, a blanket of frigid temperatures and lots of snow fell across the entire country. Here in Northern Colorado, our Elves went into action working around the clock to keep our customers safe. From plowing our commercial customers to shoveling walkways for our residential clients.

Having completed their snow removal assignments, some of our Elves enjoyed a little R & R by participating in some winter activities available here in Northern Colorado such as skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. A couple of our other Elves had the privilege of grabbing lunch with a customer/friend at a local Fort Collins eatery who we will be completing an upcoming back-yard landscape renovation project for soon when temperatures improve to some extent. We discovered there is in fact a method of getting a Jason’s Deli loaded potato in your mouth through an N95 mask without compromising the safety of each other-lol!

As the Elves wait for the snow to melt and temperatures to get better during the wintery season months so; the Yard Elves can in fact return to their current landscaping responsibilities on in-progress construction sites the company is presently working on the workers do still stay busy during downtime periods working on maintaining our fleet’s equipment and vehicles so; our safety gear, tools, and work trucks are in the best shape and are always “Good to Go!” to better to serve and to respond to our clientele always.

Remember spring is just around the corner! The great thing about spring is that it is the time of year when everything around us in nature begins to change and spring encourages new life and new hope. This year all of us in Colorado need to feel warmer and to take in a breath of fresh air as we optimistically look to overcoming Covid-19 as a community and a nation. It’s going to be a much better year everyone!
